ABOUT ME:
I have been designing and creating for as long as I can remember. Early on I can remember teachers complaining about me drawing in class, to the point where my Mom threatened to break my pencils. I was hooked. I love thinking up ideas, putting them to paper and then refining them with the computer. I am almost never without a sketchbook and almost always sketching or creating.
I am an Art Director with strong design skills. My specialty lies in creating logos/branding, custom typography, packaging and illustration. I have experience in many industries including: food, entertainment, music, alcohol, web, mobile, pharmaceutical, gaming, and publishing.
One of my inspirations include my School of Visual Arts professor Russell D’Anna. Others include Doug Johnson, Jay Vigon and Michael Doret.
My weapon of choice is a 17 inch Macbook Pro or a 4 x 6 Cache Sketchbook and a Derwent 6H pencil and a Pentel Hybrid Technica 03 pen.
While creating I love listening to music of all sorts and my taste ranges from metal to classical to country. Though most of the time I can be found listening to anything Michael Schenker has played on because I find his music very inspirational.
When I am not designing or illustrating, I love plugging in to my Marshall JMD1 amp and making noise with my Gibson Flying V or Les Paul.
